I have been fortunate enough to have had three paintings selected for exhibition at The Gallery, Cork Street as part of the United Society of Artists open entry competition. It runs until 22 Jun 2014.

I've been trying something slightly different in my treatment of still lifes and nudes. Hopefully I'll get to show some of these new paintings at the Cork Street Gallery in June this year as part of the United Society of Artists group show. Let me know what you think via the guest book.

I have just completed this small pencil study of a friend and neighbour, Compton, who sadly passed away at the end of last year.

In September 2013 I was greatly honoured to be elected as an Associate Member of the United Society of Artists. They were established in the 1920s and organise a number of group shows around the country. The first for me will be at the Bankside Gallery in London from 12th to 17th November 2013. I painted a new still life as part of the range of work I presented for election. It is a study called "Preparing a still life".

Latest commission

I have recently completed a new male nude for a client using a new model who is a dancer. I have attempted to give it the feel of a hand tinted photograph.
